Waypost Camp Workday!

Lend a hand alongside other volunteers to enhance and prepare Waypost!  April 26 (after 3 pm) through April 28.  Come one day or all weekend. NV Quilters are now collecting for Baby Care Kits and Personal Care Kits

Nelsonville WELCA is collecting items needed for LWR Baby Care Kits and Personal Care Kits.  Kits are sent to areas throughout the world suffering from wars and disasters. 

Baby Care Kits items needed: New or gently used items for infants 6 months to 24 months.  NO FLEECE.  We are especially in need of t-shirts, sweatshirt jackets or sweaters, and socks.  A complete set includes:  2 t-shirts, 2 pajamas/sleepers without feet, 2 receiving blankets, 2 pairs of socks, ivory bar soap, 4 cloth diapers, 1 hand towel, and a jacket or sweater.  Monetary gifts are welcome if you don’t like to shop – we will shop for you. 

Personal Care Kits items needed:  1 bath towel (light or medium weight, 52×27); 2-3 bath size bars of soap equaling up to 8-9 oz in original wrapping; 1 adult toothbrush (multi -packs okay); 1 sturdy comb; and 1 metal nail clipper.

Candlelight Services are on Thursdays at Nelsonville

Thursday evening Candlelight services are at Nelsonville at 7:00 pm.  A restive pause of quiet contemplation, music and liturgy created for our times.  Arrive early for 15 minutes of meditative music. 

TRACK FOOD PANTRY

TRACK Food Pantry TRACK (Tomorrow River Area Community Kitchen) provides food for families with needs in the Tomorrow  River School District area.  Hours: Monday 8:00 to 10:00 am and Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Peace.  Donations can be brought to Peace or Nelsonville during church or to Peace during office hours.

Donations for the upkeep of Oak Grove Cemetery are welcome!

If you know of anyone in the hospital, please let us know so that we can pray for them!  Call or email the church office, or call the pastors.  We will maintain confidentiality.

TRACK (Tomorrow River Area Community Kitchen) is a food pantry that provides food for families with needs in the Tomorrow River School District area.  Hours: Monday 8:00 to 10:00 am and Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Peace.  Donations can be dropped off during TRACK hours or from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
