On November 6, 2016, in an effort to ensure the continuation of a time-honored tradition, Young Blessings Preschool Thrivent Action Team offered lefse making lessons at Peace. Many people spanning several generations participated. A great time was had by all–and much lefse was made (and eaten)!
Team of 15 did fall clean up (leaves, tree trimming, perennial beds cut, metal recycling pile cleaned, metal roof snow diverters installed) for a man undergoing chemo. We had a blast. The yard was large, but many hands made light the work. We served light lunch and most of work was done in 2 hrs.
