Funerals

It is our privilege and wish to support families grieving the death of a loved one.  

We provide Christian memorial, funeral, and graveside services for anyone in need. The congregations are committed to helping anyone who does not have a church home or affiliation, providing grief support and funeral planning. Together we offer the mutual consolation we have received ourselves. We share both the love and hope we have in Christ. Two pastors are available in rotation to conduct funerals. 

Peace and Nelsonville members offer assistance to families wanting to have a fellowship time following the funeral services:

• We will provide servers for catered meals if needed.  
• We will fill in with cake and coffee, if desired.  
• We will also provide workers for clean-up. 
• Local caterers are Ambrosia, (715) 824-2332, Amherst Family Foods, (715) 824-5533, and Bootleggers (715) 824-2929.
• A donation of $125 or more for the services outlined above is appreciated. Donations go to the ministries of the church. 
• Our kitchen is available for no charge if you decide not to use the services of a church work group.
• This is a guideline only and in no way means that we will not serve a family who cannot or prefers not to follow the above.
