Lay Communion Distribution

Communion Distribution is provided to those with limited mobility by pastors and lay members of the parish to allow them to receive the benefits Holy Communion provide and to assist members to stay connected to their church in this life giving way. This ministry of the church is made possible with our Lutheran understandings about leadership, the role of the Pastor, his/her responsibility to the sacraments, and the priesthood of all believers, the role of the non-ordained

The ministry of home communion distribution by laity is sanctioned through the Lutheran church doctrine and is executed under the direction of the pastoral office of the ordained and called pastor of our congregation. This distribution ministry is conducted by participating members of the churches.
